I have always been fascinated with the intricacies of eyes, so entering the optical field was the logical next step for me. Once I completed my qualification, I got to work in various professional environments, which gave me a thorough grounding in my profession.
Subsequently, after twenty-five years of working for others, I felt the time had come to stand on my own two feet. I was determined to build a practice on the values that were dear to me and offer personalized solutions that could not be found in a big box setup.
My practice has been open since November 2019. Starting a new venture takes sheer hard work and this has made me resilient, especially after having to close my doors for weeks during COVID after being open only three months!
Dedication to refining our processes and commitment to quality is what sets me apart. I invest in modern technology for comprehensive eye exams as well as use smaller, independent businesses from around the world to source my frame selection.
My vision is to create a welcoming environment for all patients by caring for their eye health with advanced equipment and thorough exams, provide unique looks to patients by sourcing high-quality indie brands and bring relief to patients suffering from dry eye.
When I’m not assisting patients in improving their vision, I love reading, partaking in Latin dancing, and hiking with my husband and dogs.
